I watched them fall,
Crumble between my fingers,
These giants that stood before me,
I used to look on in awe,
Monoliths of power beyond reach,
Now just rotten blocks,
Littering the gloomy horizon,
They used to tower over head,
Heads now shamefully lowered,
Shoulders slumped as they cower in defeat,
Disappointed I now march on,
In search of that next giant to slay,
That next mountain to climb.
