His hands shook,
As uncertainty gnawed away,
Bags strewn across the floor,
He stood there in the centre of this little universe,
Two feet firmly planted,
Too scared to place one outside that door,
They were the key,
To removing the fear holding him back,
These words that soothed him were utterly divine,
And that last message rang through the hollow house,
“You’re going to live a wonderful life,
You’ll be just fine.”
