Date unknown,
Time now lost,
These darkened halls groan,
With memories caked in frost,
If you have something to say,
Say it now as you walk away,
Left me here isolated and warm,
As you spirit away at dawn,
Basking in the echoes,
Generously given shadows,
Gifts I no longer need or want,
Litter the empty space beneath my tree,
This poisonous air,
The scent of loneliness and despair,
Yet despite it all it is the greatest gift you’ve given me,
An elixir as sweet as morning dew,
Shame that the hangover has left me wondering,
Now what do I do?
