I write to wash away the dirt,
to clear my mind,
and to share my thoughts on everything that hurt.
I write to tell my story,
to keep myself honest,
and to bring you on a journey seeking glory.
I write to learn,
to educate,
and to silence the doubts that yearn.
I write to feel alive,
to move on,
and to reach the goals of which I strive.
I write to nurture my emotions,
to teach you about my world,
and to further illustrate my devotions.
I write to placate demand,
to write because I can,
and to help you better understand.
I write to state my case,
to project my voice loudly,
and to avoid disappearing without a trace.
Great words so well penned.

All really good reasons to write. I was impressed with your ability to rhyme throughout this poem. ~Robin
